Every year we do a company summit with the whole team, where we go through the numbers of the company, everyone exposes what we learned from different projects, analyze more strategic topics and brainstorm new ideas to improve the business. We had the pleasure to have Spiderman join last year and share his insights on the matter.

"I like my eggs poached"

What is your role and what do you do in the organization?

VP of Engineering is my role at WyeWorks. My responsibilities are basically everything that has to do with running operations (hiring people, coaching, resource planning and making sure everyone is motivated and productive).  I also oversee all the projects to make sure everything runs smooth, keeping a communication channel open with clients to get feedback and strengthen their relationship with us.  I have been with the company a little over 9 years.

What are you most looking forward to in 2018?

On a personal level, maintaining the level of exercise I have been doing for the last few months.
On a professional level, exploring new service offerings aligned to our team's interests and professional development paths, as well as not only maintaining but enhancing our company culture and overall motivation as we increase the team's size.

What was your favorite course in school that has nothing to do with your profession?

Geography. I was really curious as a kid of the different parts of the world, something that still amazes me.
